Song of America

My friend Ed Pettersen has put heart and soul into this project, acting as producer and performer, Song of America is a collection of historically significant songs performed by a diverse list of talent. The set will be released on Tuesday ( 9-18-07) but you can preview the entire set by clicking the link below. I was spellbound after hearing Bettye LaVette's Streets of Philadelphia and the song by John Mellencamp, This Land is Your Land.

I will definately buy this historic collection.

I am looking forward to Betty LaVette's new release with the Drive-by Truckers backing her up.
"The Scene of The Crime" ( a John Hiatt song, is soon to hit the streets.
